JIRA Dev Roadmap - Will there ever be a Tree view out of the box?

hi,

It would be great if I can switch between Kanban Broad and Tree view inside Jira out of the box. A tree view with Epics, User stories, Sub Tasks and to customise columns.

Don't you think it would be awesome, to have tree view with following columns(Issue, Assigned To, Estimated Effort, Actual Effort ) for daily 15 mins stand-ups?!?!?!?!?!?!

It so obviously makes sense when doing daily stand up...Am I minority in this?!?!?. Every other Agile tool has this out of the box!!!!

This feature not being out of the box and instead having so many addons/plugins in marketplace begs the idea you should put this feature by default, unless that the decision you made, for people to buy this feature.

@Dilip M , welcome to the community. Did you mean for this to be a discussion or were you asking if it was possible? Here is my input for both.

A: it is unfortunately not possible today.

IMO: while it would be an interesting feature for sure I don’t know that I would personally use it that much. I could certainly see a use case where I would be unlikely to use for daily stand ups. Now maybe that is because I have adapte to what is available OOTB. We’re it available when I first started using Jira 8 yrs back might answer might be different.
