JIRA Core users vs JIRA Software Users

Currently i evaluate JIRA, self-hosted on my own server.

Installed is "JIRA Software"

We have currently 15 Users, but only 5-6 really need "Jira Software" - the rest would fit with "Jira Core"

I´ve seen that i can enter two license keys on this single Jira Server Instance.

So would it be possible to buy two Starter Licences (for 10 Users each) and i can work with all users (some as "core" some as "software"). In the end i have max. 20 Users (10 for each license).

Is this legal and possible?

Hello @yorxsAG, 

yes this is possible, it's pretty usual to have Jira Core and Jira Software users on the same server if only a few of them need Jira Software features (Kanban, Sprints, ...).

It's very common in order to optimize licencing on Atlassian products.
