JIRA Cloud time spent is mandatory field

Hi JIRA team,

When we create a new JIRA issue, the "Time spent" field is set as mandatory and you need to enter some non-zero value to save the issue. Can I can get rid of this to make this non-mandatory during issue creation?

Go into the project settings and find the "fields" area - look for the "field configuration", you will find that the "time tracking" field has been set as mandatory.  Turn that off.
