JIRA Cloud and SelfHosted aesthetically different

Hello!

Im new to JIRA, I tried cloud to see If I would like it and decided to go self hosted as I like knowing where my data is.

Now I have installed it and got it up and running with a trial, it looks completely different to the cloud version.

This isn't explained anywhere or how I can make it look the same, its GUI was one of the largest selling points for me as my team are not as experienced in these types of software as most.

Is it possible to do what I want it to do?

Hi Sky,

The cloud apps are running ADG3 (Atlassian design guidelines 3), their new UI. The server variants are not yet on ADG3. It will happen, but no timeline has been published as yet.

Thats a great shame, ADG3 is really nice and much more user friendly I think than the current one. I do hope it will be released soon!

How long ago was it put on the cloud edition?
