Similar issue like the following link, yet in JIRA Cloud I cannot enable bulk emails compared to JIRA 8:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/In-Jira-how-do-I-bulk-my-email-notifications-to-receive-one-in/qaq-p/1052930

Current situation:

My management is receiving bunch of emails for every change someone does in an issue. If the issue is changing rapidly (eg description has changed 10 times during 15 minutes period due to unforseen circumstances) the management receives 10 separate emails. Considering the management oversees a BUNCH of issues, it is a pain in the ass to go through all of those emails in their mailbox.

Expected:

I would like to setup a timly notification, like "15m", "1h" or even "1d" notification changes. How can I do this? Is there any way to do this?

Hello Oliver,

Sorry to hear you are facing this problem.

Indeed, we can understand how a sequence of events can fulfill the mailbox of the users with notifications, making it easy to miss any important notification between.

That's why we have created the following feature request to improve this functionality:

Group notifications on JIRA notification's scheme

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

As a workaround, you can disable notifications for the specific event on the notification scheme or change the generic event that will be fired on the workflow.

Additionally, you can use filter subscriptions to replace some notifications, where you can configure the time-frequency that you want to receive it (30m, 1h, etc.). For more information about it, check the section "Subscribe to search results" in the documentation below:
