Unfortunately from my research, I do not think it is possible to cancel a backup that is in progress. If this were server you could restart the server and it would cancel the backup but since you are on cloud you cant do that.
I recommend reaching out to Atlassian Support since they handle the cloud infrastructure. They may be able to cancel it for you.
