We’re using JIRA Calendar Plugin and are seeing an issue where the Calendar gadget does not render when we load it with a saved filter that returns a large number of issues.
The gadget loads the selection/configuration fields (e.g., filter/project selection), but the calendar view never appears.
The page keeps “loading” indefinitely / remains stuck on the selection fields.
This occurs consistently when the underlying filter returns a large result set.
We have tried to reduced scope where possible, but we need to support this use case for operational reporting.
Questions
Is there a known limitation (e.g., maximum number of issues/events) for the Calendar gadget or this plugin version?
Any configuration settings (plugin or Jira) that can improve performance for this gadget (timeouts, indexing considerations, caching, etc.)?
We are currently using JIRA Data Center 10.3.15 and JIRA Calendar Plugin 7.0.0.

Not that I'm aware of limitations, but it could be resources.
Check the logs on what is there when loading a filter.
Otherwise raise an issue around the app at Atlassian Support
