JIRA - Bloomberg Integration

I am hoping to set up a system that gives me an alert any time there is big news on any of the companies I am working with, or if there is any big move in their stock price.

Is it possible to integrate JIRA with Bloomberg or alternatively even google/yahoo finance/other similar source? 

Any help/ideas are much appreciated.

It's possible, certainly, but I'm not aware of any add-ons that do things like that in the marketplace.

The simple answer is to do something external - something that monitors stock prices and has rules for when you want a new issue, which then runs a simple REST call into JIRA to create the issue.
