JIRA Avatar keeps going back to default

On uploading an avatar the new avatar appears in UI (after a Ctrl+F5), yet after a refresh goes back to default in 5-10 minutes.

Ok the issue was that I've had a Gravatar profile registered but it was not set up and JIRA just overrode my custom picture to my default Gravatar one. I've uploaded image to Gravatar and now it all works great.
