JIRA Agile error after upgrading UPM

Scott Pippin January 3, 2019

We upgraded UPM from 3.0.0 to 3.0.1.  After restart we are seeing the following error from the log analyzer:

JIRA Agile disabled with the error License is for an older version and maintenance has expired

Do I need to worry about his error as we are using JIRA Software?

Scott,

Jira Software is the new name for Jira Agile, so I advise you to run through the resolution:

If the license is valid for the JIRA Agile version:

Upgrade to the latest compatible version of the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM) - version 2.10.2 or newer as it contains an important fix.

If the issue persists, clear the license cache with the following:

  1. Go to my.atlassian.com and create an evaluation license.
  2. Enter the evaluation license, as in Specifying your License Details.
  3. Replace the evaluation license with the valid JIRA Agile license.

If JIRA Agile is still not working, you may use our Contact form to reach out to our Customer Advocates to check the license.

If the license is not valid for the JIRA Agile version:

A new JIRA Agile license will need to be purchased so that it is valid for the new JIRA Agile version. To restore immediate access to JIRA Agile, an evaluation license can be generated on my.atlassian.com.

Let me know if you have any questions about that.

Regards,

Shannon
