Hello Everyone,
Our team is having issues loading the release tab in Jira. We see a similar issue open in Jira https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-66300 but the suggested solution does not work. Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks,
Reanal
Hi @Reanal
Thanks for this screenshot. It really helps me to see the problem and understand the version you are using here 7.10.2.
This is actually a known bug in that version. For more details see JSWSERVER-16613. Unfortunately, we do not have a clear work-around for this problem that can happen when a project in Jira has more than 2,000 versions. That said, upgrading Jira to any of the versions listed on that ticket in the FixVersion field (7.13.14, 8.5.5, 8.9.0, 8.8.1) or higher should then be able to help prevent this problem from happening when you visit this page.
As such I would recommend upgrading Jira to correct this problem. The version you are currently using is beyond the end of life date in which Atlassian will support as noted in Atlassian Support End of Life Policy.
I hope this helps.
Andy

Hello @Reanal,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
The suggestion you shared is related to the Jira Software version. I searched here and didn't find one for the Cloud.
On the suggestion, it mentions that it happens when a board contains about 3000 versions, may I know how many versions your board has?
Is it showing any error?
If it doesn't show errors on the UI, can you open the developer tools and check if it shows any error?
Regards,
Angélica

Hello @Angélica Luz ,
Where could we find the exact number of versions in a project? If I had to estimate I would say more than 1000. It is not showing any error. It just takes a minute to load everything but for so,me users it would appear it isn't available if they aren't aware of wait time. I don't see any error when I open the developers tool. Below is the screenshot of what it looks like the first minute before it completes the load.
