Issues not showing on board

Time for my daily Jira question!

We have a team-managed board, where none of the issues are showing on the board.  There seems to be some sort of default filter, but I can't figure out how to remove or edit it.

We've made our epic "Document," and while we have epics in To Do and Draft, they're not showing.

Where does that "Issues without Document" filter come from, and how can I change it?  Even when you sort by assignee, it only "shows" the negative results, and not the issues that have assignees.

This is where our columns are matched to statuses:

So you can see there are issues in "to do" and "draft".  Here's the filters screen

There will be some small setting somewhere I'm missing, I'm sure.  Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @Lana Kelly 

You can't show Epics on Team-managed boards I'm afraid; they're just used for grouping, filters, and in the Epic panel (if you have the Backlog activated).

There is a feature request for this though, vote for/watch JRACLOUD-80355 

Otherwise, use a Company-managed Project to have Epics on the board as a ticket.

I have a case similar to Lana’s.

However, I don’t need to see the epics — only the tickets would be enough.

I can’t understand why the tickets aren’t appearing on the board.

I’m not sure whether this project is company‑managed, but in another project (which I know is team‑managed) I can see the tickets on the board without any problem.

However, in my friend’s project, none of the tickets are showing — a similar case to Lana’s.



Am I right in thinking that in team‑managed projects the tickets appear on the board, while in company‑managed projects they don’t?
