Issues marked as 'Done' not appearing 'Done' column (Kanban, next gen)

I'm using the nextgen projects, without Scrum enabled. I've got some issues that were never taken out of the backlog and are marked as Done today. However, they do not appear in the 'Done' column on the board?

The only way I can find to do that is, mark them as 'Not done' again, move them out of the backlog, and then mark them as done.

Is there  nicer way to fix this without going back and manually changing them? I tried doing the bulk 'transition through workflow' step too but they still don't appear in the 'Done' column on the board.
