Issues created are not showing up

Hi all,

I have the Outlook AddIn (I am using an Apple Mac) installed so I can create a ticket directly out of an e-mail. I Click on "Jira Cloud" within Outlook, "Create issue" and after filling the information in I click on "Create" (s. screenshot):

Then the issue shows up in the Jira Cloud "Backlog" – this means it shows up in the "Board": 

How can I achieve that those show up in the Board?

Hello @Nico Wohlleb 

It appears that your project is a Team Managed project. Is that correct? It will say at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left.

If that is the case, then there is not currently support for automatically moving an issue from the Backlog to the Board in a Team Managed project Kanban board. Here is the change request for that:

@Trudy Claspill: Yes, this is a team managed project - the writing on the bottom left is in german ("Sie befinden sich in einem vom Team verwalteten Projekt")

So this means that I need to setup a "classic project". Due I want to easily track tasks in a small team of 6 people I can setup a new project: Is the project management template supported for this feature (s. screenshot)?

Work Management (Arbeitsmanagement) project do not support use of kanban/scrum boards. You have to set up a Software Project for that.
