Hello All,
I've encountered an issue while attempting to share a project dashboard with a specific user group. The dashboard provides an overview of the current status of various issues within 1 project. I have applied a filter to the gadget.
It appears that when I share the dashboard with the user group, they are unable to see the gadget. I have attached a screenshot below to illustrate the problem.
I have taken the time to review the permissions and can confirm that they have access to Browse Projects. Additionally, I have shared both the filters and the dashboard with them.
If anyone suggestions on how to resolve this issue and ensure that the user group can view the dashboard it would be appreciated.
Hi Ryan,
This is typically the error you seen when they don't truly have permissions to the underlying filter.
Maybe send them the link to the filter itself and see if they can execute it and see results.
Hello John,
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I cannot share the link but I can provide a screenshot of the filter details if that is what you want to review.

Yes, but I mean have the user directly click on the link. Go to Filters in the top nav bar and then find the filter and select it. Then just copy the URL address and send that to the user.
If they can click on the link you send and see results, that might eliminate the most obvious.

John, I shared the link with them and they are able to see only the issue they are assigned.
What I trying to do si create a dashboard with all the issue of a project to have a full view of the progress.
Do you know how to do this?

So it sounds like there is maybe issue level security applied to the project? Because if the filter itself returns multiple issues but a single user only sees a portion of those issues using the same filter, then there has to be extra security applied to it.
Using the dashboard won't override that.

Okay, I have a security level implemented as you mentioned, and I cannot modify it.
Is there a way I can accomplish my objective with the current settings?
