Image 3.jpgImage 2.pngImage1.jpgHi Team,

In Jira, we use the Releases/Fix Versions feature, where work items such as user stories and tasks are associated with specific versions using the Fix Version field. These are then visible under the corresponding release.

Similarly, in Zephyr, we have the Release Version field. I’ve linked the test cases and test plans to the same release version used in Jira. However, these test cases or test plans are not appearing under the “Releases/Fix Versions” section as expected.

For your reference, I’m attaching screenshots to illustrate the issue.

Please let me know if I’m missing any configuration or if this is a known issue.

Thanks,
Amit Brahmarouthu

Hi @Amit Brahmarouthu

Welcome to the community!

Test cases only show up in Jira’s Releases if they’re actual Jira issues (like the “Test” issue type in Zephyr Squad) and have the Fix Version field set.
If you’re using Zephyr Scale, test cases are managed inside Zephyr and won’t appear in Jira’s release view—that’s by design.

For Zephyr Squad, make sure the Fix Version field is visible and filled on your test cases. Otherwise, use Zephyr’s own reports to track testing by release.

Hope this helps!

Kind Rgeards
Utkarsh
