Issue with Managing project permissions like adding and removing members

Hi,

 

I have been assigned as Admin by my team but I am not being able to add or remove members.

Please support as the same issue is with 2 members.

Hi @Vivek Singh 

We might need a little more information here...

  • Where are you trying to add/remove users? Is this into a Project from the People screen?
  • Is this a Company-managed or Team-Managed Project?

If it's Company-managed, I would be getting a Jira Admin to check the Permission Scheme. Looking for...

  • If your Project Role (eg. Administrators) has the Administer Projects permission. You'd need this to add users to a Project.
  • If there is a Project Role for user access, which has the Browse Projects permission at minimum. If access was controlled from a Group rather than a Project Role (for example) - then you wouldn't have the ability to manage their access directly.

Let us know some more specifics though, so we can advise further. Screenshots of the exact areas where you're not seeing the expected behaviour would be greatly appreciated :)
