Issue with Connecting Jira and GitHub Integration

I'm having an issue with connecting Jira and GitHub. The GitHub app is already installed and configured in Jira. Also, the Jira app is authorized in GitHub. However, I'm unable to add the "Development" field, and the Smart Commits don't seem to be working or aren't being recognized. Can someone help me with this?

Can you please elaborate on "unable to add the Development field"? Do you not see it or is it erroring out? Please post some further details and I will try my best to help. Also, you can integrate Jira and GitHub using plugins like Exalate - might be worth a look.

Hello, thank your for your answer. I'm not able to see/add it to the context fields, neither it shows up, even if I search for it.
