Hi, I am trying to update tickets (in particular, Labels field) according to what is described here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiracloud/importing-data-from-csv-776636762.html (Updating existing issues).

Therefore, since CSV records have Issue Key to match the issue to be updated, when asked how to map all fields, I would expect to have Issue Key listed among possible choices.

However, I cannot find this fields as possible mapping, and leaving it as "Do not map" causes the CSV issue key to be ignored and tickets to be newly created and not updated.

Why is this happening?

Thank you.

Okay. If you have admin access, try the External System import option. You will see the Issue Key field during import.

I think Import option from the issues drop down will not let you choose the Issue Key. I am not completely sure.

Many thanks for prompt reply. I don't personally have admin rights, but I will ask company admin to help.
