Hey guys,

I've created an item in my classic Kanban board project, the setup of the board is just standard/default. Once I added a Date Due for the item, it just disappeared and is no longer showing anywhere, checked the filter and is just default, but the item is not showing anywhere. I can access the item through a direct link, but is not showing anywhere on my Kanban board even if I change the status, priority, etc.

Any thoughts?

Hi Walter,

If I understand your concern here, once you enter a due date for an issue, that issue disappears from your kanban board.

I would start by looking at the specific board settings.  Since you mentioned 'classic', I take it you're using Jira Cloud.  If that is the case, you can go to the top right corner of the board, and click the ... menu and select "Board settings".

While the board filter does control what issues appear there, and that JQL filter is certainly one thing to check first, Kanban boards also have an additional sub-filter JQL query that is used to hide released items.

I'd be interested to see the JQL of both of these sections to better understand if the behavior is by design or something else.

@Andy Heinzer

Thanks for the response, yesterday I deleted the item with the problem just to move forward, after reading your response I tried to replicate it and I couldn't.

My filters are set as the default, basically the same way your screenshot shows. I'm going to try to continue finding a way to replicate the issue, once I succeed, I'll post it again.

Thanks,

Walter
