I have configured a new board for using next gen project template.
But in this template I am not seeing any tab for Issues and Filter, neither I am able to run JQL on any of the created board.

In next gen projects, default filters are included such as Assignee, Label, and Epic; but additional JQL filters can't be created.

Next-gen project dose not support board filters and quick filters as the classic project. You can keep track of Jira Software Cloud public roadmap.
