Issue fields specific to issue type

I would like to know is there any issue fields that are only specific to a issue type. If so how can I know that issue fields.

Since I added epic name, epic color fields to bug screen scheme using rest api and it gets added. But when I get issue fields using create issue metadata api for bug type epic name and epic color fields are missing.

All the locked fields named "Epic <something>" except Epic Link are for the Epic issue type only - they will not function or display on any other issue type.

For Custom Fields, you can set a context (and should) that makes the field applicable to certain projects and/or certain issue types. 

Go to Settings > Issues > Custom Fields

Then search for the field you want to know about or modify the context.

Then click on the ellipsis menu (3 dots on the right side)

Choose Contexts and default value.
