I have a number of issues which I have linked together to show the flow required in order to make a final decision and I have done this prior to working in the Timeline view. When starting to work in Timeline view, I would have thought the dependencies previously set up would automatically be illustrated in Timeline but that appears to not be the case and i have to manually add them.

Is this really the case or am I missing something?

Hello @Cox_ Paul

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Are you working on a Timeline view that is art of a Plan that you created through the Plans menu? Or are you looking at the basic Timeline view available when you view A scrum or Kanban board that references only one project?

How did you define the dependencies? What link type did you use to link the issues to each other?

If you did not use the blocks/is-blocked-by link, that is most likely the problem.

If you did use the Blocks link type then my next question would be are the links between issues that are all within the scope of the Timeline source data?
