Hi @Anne_Harkin , id.atlassian.com is a genuine Atlassian sender, it's their account and identity system, and the +728f8a8 is just a routing tag on the same address, so an "action required" notice from it is normally a real account or security message. That said, a From line can be faked, so don't take the email's word for it: rather than clicking anything in it, open your account yourself by typing id.atlassian.com in the browser (or signing in to your product) and handle the action from there. Before clicking any link in the message, check that it points to a *.atlassian.com address, and never enter your password on a page that isn't on atlassian.com. If it still feels off, forward it to Atlassian here: report a suspicious email.
