I am wanting to export a list of our open and in progress Jira issues into a table or list in OneNote on a weekly basis for team meeting discussions, similar to how you can export your issues list into confluence.
I don't necessarily need for it to be interactive as in, if I make a comment on an issue in OneNote it updates in Jira, more just a list of the issues where we can make our own internal comments or action items for that issue in a separate column. Would be great also if the issue was hyperlinked for ease of access to open the issue fully if required.
You can send emails to a pre-configured email address which is integrated to OneNote.
You can periodically run a JQL query, export the result to Excel or to PDF and send the resulted file as an email attachment. Both file format supports clickable links. I don't know if Excel (a MS-native file format) or PDF (a widely supported file format) works better with OneNote, but it may worth a quick test.
(Discl. I work in the team which develops these apps.)
Hello Kate,
Create a filter in Jira that shows your open and in‑progress issues, then switch to the list view and configure the columns you need. Select all the issues with your mouse and copy them, then paste them into OneNote using “Merge Formatting.” This way, you get a neat table in OneNote, and the issue keys remain clickable hyperlinks back to Jira.
Best regards
Omar

Hi Omar,
Thanks for your response, I like this option, however, I cannot see an option to copy the issues once they have been selected. Any further information on how or where to do this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kate
