Is there any way to find on the "Sum Time Spent" fields for all sub-tasks included?

I have a project with many tasks / workpackages / phases and in the sub-levels lot of sub tasks.

An example:

Development Phase workpackage (without estimated time and there is no individual logtime for this phase) ... under this in sub-level >>

• Subtask #1 (logged time eg. 10 hrs)

• Subtask #2 (logged time eg. 20 hrs)

 I want to return any summary where time has been spent on a sub-task.

That means - I would like to see on the "Development Phase" 30 hours total ... 

...but unfortunately "Sum Time Spent" or "Σ Time Spent" is empty

I am looking to do this without purchasing an add-on.  Any ideas? or "status Time app is able to handle this?
