I found that admins can set descriptions for workflow statuses they create. How can I (as a non-admin user) view these descriptions for statuses?

Hello @Emily Myers ,

- When you hover over the status Tooltip on your ticket you should see the updated description of your status. However, if this is not the case you might be hitting this bug JRACLOUD-72871

- Regards to project admins: I think it is not possible for project admins to view the description for a workflow statuses on cloud yet see Extended Project Admin Permissions - Workflow Management . To understand what Administer Projects permission allows you to do in your project. See Permissions for classic projects

- But, on server you can follow below instructions to view workflow status descriptions:

goto your project --> project settings --> Workflows --> Click on pencil icon (under actions --> Now click on any status (you will see the status description there). If it doesn't display anything under the description then you need to get some help from your Jira Admin to add a description to a specific status as per your requirement.

I would suggest you to upvote and comment on this ticket JRACLOUD-62881 and JRACLOUD-72871
