Does anyone know of a way to turn off the new UI changes, I'm really tired of losing functionality/having to search for functionality just so Jira can fix something that isn't broken.  Thanks for any assistance, just so frustrated.

Hello @Darren Zinkhon

Welcome to the community.

If you are referring to the new issue view, there is not a way to turn it off. For individual issues, when you view them you can view them in the old issue view, but it is not a setting that will stick. You can find that here:

If there are other UI issues that are bothering you, can you provide specifics? We might be able to provide more specific suggestions.

Thanks for the response, having the ability to see the old view solved my immediate issue of attachments being unable to load in the new view.  I guess my biggest complaint is the lack of the edit button and access to the Epic Status state.

With regard to the lack of Edit button, all fields can be directly edited when viewing the issue (inline editing), so there theoretically isn't a need for the Edit button and a pop-up just for editing fields. However, this also means that instead of editing multiple fields and getting one entry in the audit log you instead get an entry in the audit log for each individual field that is edited.

With regard to the Epic Status field (not to be confused with the Status field for an Epic issue), are you working with a Team Managed or a Company Managed project? With a Company Managed project, if you add the Epic Status field to the Screen definition (Settings > Issues > Screens), then you should find it available for display under the Configure Fields option in the issue view.

The actual content has been sandwiched with unnecessary left and right column view.  The rightmost column is not that user needs to watch it constantly while scrolling. Please fix that so that we can hide the right column when needed and have the extended middle column where actual content is present. It is really annoying to have the actual content size cramped up

@Preet Shah

Welcome to the community.

This is only a user community, not a direct feedback medium to Atlassian.

Consider using the Feedback button at the top of the issue view, or adding your votes and comments concerning the column display to these issues in Atlassian's backlog.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-69574

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-75054

Those are subtasks of a parent issue that has other subtasks concerning change request for the new issue view. Perhaps you'll find others there that you also want to comment on or vote for.
