Company managed project

My company uses one Jira project to oversee multiple projects at once. We have different boards to track each project, and want to have one overall board to have an overview over all projects. We use a standard project layout, that way all the epic and issue titles are similar, right now the idea is to distinguish using labels. My question is: Is there a way to structure the timeline view in a way, that each project is grouped? So that all projects are on that overall timeline view, but are still distinguishable, for example in swimlanes different than epics?

Any info on this would be very helpful and appreciated!

Hi @Julius Guizetti

This requires to change you plan from standard to enterprise. This will provide you with the Advanced Roadmap feature in the system.

This is the advanced option of timeline and can be used cross project.

https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/guides/advanced-roadmaps/overview#what-are-advanced-roadmaps

https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/plan-and-view-cross-project-work-with-advanced-roadmaps/

Or if this is not an option, based on costs, you could look into marketplace apps like;

  • Structure
  • Big Picture
  • etc..
