Is there a way to see what assets a user "owns"?

We discovered a few days ago that if you remove a user from the system, any dashboards "owned" by that user are also removed.  As I am responsible for managing users, removing users when they leave the company, etc., I am wondering if there is a way for me to see what types of assets the user may own, e.g.: dashboards, pages, etc.

I'm trying to help establish a user retention policy; if there is some sort of "asset review" which should occur prior to deleting a user - so that dashboards which others use and depend upon are not lost - I'd certainly be interested in knowing how to perform such a review.

For Jira you can go to the Admin > System page. There you'll find in the navigation pane on the left a section for Shared Items which gives you a page for searching for Filters and one for Dashboards. Both allow you to search by Owner. These also showed if the items are Shared with other or Private.
