Is there a way to report the percentage of an epic complete per sprint within a PI?

I am a SM trying to help the PMs simplify their reporting. We are SaFe shop and have 6 sprints in each of our PIs. After each sprint, they need to report what percentage of the epic is complete. So for example, after sprint 1 we may see that we are 10% complete in the epic, after sprint 2 we completed some more stories and are now 25% complete in the epic. Currently the PMs have to do some manual steps to come up with this calculation. Is there some kind of report in Jira that can do this for me?

Thank you!

Hi @Andy

One of our dashboard options at minware is a predictive roadmap which would solve for this. The report predicts task completion dates based on historical velocity and there is a scalar so you can project a best / worst case scenario.

It starts at the epic level, and allows you to dive all the way down to subtasks. We also automatically account for dependencies which can save a ton of time and effort!

@AndyI totally understand! We are a Jira marketplace partner, and understand how valuable their platform is.

At minware we connect your Jira ticketing, code sources, and calendar data into a plug and play dashboard to provide a better picture of the entire workflow.

If you ever consider working with a 3rd party partner please don't hesitate to reach out!
