We are a large company with many products. Each product is represented by a project in JIRA. We are required by the business to all be operating using the same sprint naming convention and cadence. As such every JIRA project has identical or similar sprint names.
This has led to people putting things in the wrong sprints.
I have made it so people working on a project only have the Manage Sprints and Schedule Issue permission for their project but they are still able to see and select sprints outside of their project.
Is there a way to associate a role with a Sprint and only those in the role can add/remove the issues from that sprint?
Hi @Patrick
No, not yet. There are a couple of open suggestions to add this capability, and it appears that at least one of them is in progress! Look at below, and if you want, start watching the issues for updates.

Thanks Bill. Looks like the Cloud one is for me... sadly not the one that is in progress. Hopefully the cloud one will come shortly after this.
Best regards,
Patrick

Hi, Patrick. From the labels on both items, it seems that if they add this it will help server and cloud versions. Hopefully. :^)
