Is there a way to manage what sprints are Active outside of Space boards?

We've had our Jira Cloud environment for over a decade and some of our Spaces (formerly Projects) have stopped being used and had their boards deleted. However, some of the Sprint values that were created for those spaces are still floating around in the Active and Future sprint values on the sprint dropdowns. We need to clean them up. Just hiding them with "only show sprints for this project" is not sufficient. Where can I complete old sprint values to get them off of our dropdown list?

Hi @Tracy B ,

I'd recommend to contact Support to see if they can remove or complete orphaned sprints created by deleted boardshttps://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

@Tracy B You can close sprints in the Jira space (the board associated with the space), Jira align or on a Jira board.  Documentation below:

Well, that's unfortunate, because some of the sprints have non-specific names like Test. I no longer know what board they were associated with.
