Is there a way to get the number of story points done over a year?

I  would like to know how many story points the team was able to do over the past year or during a specific release.

The velocity report is by sprint.

The easiest solution for this would be to filter the issues you want with the issue navigator, then export them into excel to do the calculation.

Of course there are more elegant solutions with Apps like Rich Filters or Better Excel Exporter
