Is there a way to edit values (due date) from cards or Issue Detail View on a board?

The board is configured to show the due date on each card and also to show it in issue detail view (that part on the right).

Is there a way to edit due date directly there? Right now it is only possible to do the following:

1. Click on the card -> 2. Click on the three dots at the top right of Issue Detail View -> 3. Click Edit -> 4. Select the date in the window that pops up -> 5. Click update.

When there's a lot of tasks it takes so much time to edit all of them. Clicking 5 times in 3 different screens just to change 1 parameter is exessive.

Is there a way to do this right on the card or inside the detailed view on the right (preferably)? I am also looking for the way to be able to able to change other field, like asignee, inside issue detail view on the right without opening a task. It is possible to change the description there, why isn't it possible to change everything else?

If this is not possible to achieve with regular Jira tools (which I suspect), is there a Jira app (we use Jira server) that has this functionality?

I found a way that is somewhat easier: select a card and press 'E' on a keyboard. It opens edit issue window.

Now, is there an app for Jira that expands the functionality of Issue Detail View?
