Is there a way to do a BULK recycle via a JQL

We have the recycle bin plugin that allows users to recycle an issue instead of deleting.  So if a bunch of issues were defined via a JQL how can I "bulk" recycle?

Bulk edit can only call functions that Atlassian code into Jira.  The "recycle" is coming from an app, it's not built into Jira, and is therefore unlikely to be available to bulk edit (unless the app authors have come up with something sneaky!)
