Is there a way to create a field that consists of sub-fields that can be duplicated within an issue?

Jeff P February 19, 2025

Situation that I'm look for a solution with:  If a bug is found on a product with multiple versions in the field.  Each version, or sets of versions, requires their own resolution but we want to track them in one parent issue.

Ultimately I'd like to be able to embed a set of fields into a form/box to define each resolution.  And I'd like to be able to add this form/box at will similar to how you can hit the "+" to add an issue to an Epic but instead of a link to another issue I want another form/box added to the current issue.

Is there any possibility of creating something like this?  (currently running Data Center 9.12)

Hi @Jeff P ,

using builtin features, you can not have dynamic number of fields. My suggestion is to create a subtask for each fixversion and manage resolution there.

Hope this helps,

Fabio
