Is there a way to copy bunch of issues (child issues) from one epic to another?

Hi everyone,

I have to perform the same tasks in many Epics and I was wondering if there is an easy way to copy sub-tasks (child issues) from one to other epics.  The clone option seems to just create a link, which is not what I like to do.  The bulk edit function doesn't provide an option for copying.

Much appreciate any pointer that could help us move along faster and easier.

Thank you,

Sam

@Sam Forouzi Welcome to the Atlassian community

There is not a bulk clone option that is delivered.  So you would need to do one of two things.  Purchase and app (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=jira&query=clone)  or bulk export the issue and then import them via CSV https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/import-data-from-a-csv-file/

Using the import is easy once you get the format setup correctly so using this delivered functionality is actually a pretty simple way to go.

Hi Brant and thank you for your quick response.  I will try the

Deep Clone for Jira first and see how it goes.

Thank you,

Sam
