My team has a project where we create many boards and therefore, cards. When we create a card, there are a couple of fields by default, but my team need more fields and we want to avoid to do that change one by one individually.
My questions is, is there a way to configure this fields in a project level, so that all the boards would have the fields that my team need for a specific issue?
Hello @alecentalz
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Yes, that is a customization that can be done.
However, only a Jira Administrator has enough permissions to make such customizations for Jira Server/DC. You will need to work with your Jira Administrators to implement the changes you want.
Great! thank you. Do you have any link or documentation in order to see how that's done? (for my administrator)

There are multiple steps involved.

If the fields you want don't exist then the Jira Administrator will have to create new custom fields.
For fields to be available in your project they have to be in the Field Configurations / Field Configuration Scheme that applies to your project.
The fields will have to be added to the Screens used by your project.
Your Jira Administrators should already be familiar with the documentation, user community, and training resources available for guidance regarding administering Jira. If they are not, you might want to send them a link to this community. :-)
