Is there a way to change the Default Issue Type scheme

Is it possible to change the default issue type scheme that all unassigned project will get?

No, it's a slight quirk (other schemes don't behave this way), but the default issue type scheme simply contains all the issues.

It would be nice to be able to define a true default scheme, even if there's still a non-deletable system "list of all of them" somewhere, but we're not there yet. I've a memory of an issue in Atlassian's Jira that we should vote on, but I can't find it at the moment.
