Is there a way to automatically add watchers or have yourself added to a ticket based on a label?

I am looking for a way to automatically add watchers to tickets based on labels. I know I can add watchers manually, but having it done automatically by Jira will help ensure all the right people are watching specific tickets.

Any ideas?

You would need some scripting or automation addon. I have use Automation for Jira successfully for this scenario but there are certainly other addon solutions.
