Is there a way that you can tag a JIRA ticket in email and the email would get attached as comment to the JIRA ticket ?
Like @xxx-3114 - FYI and the content of the email will show up as comments on the JIRA.

Are you working with a Jira Service Desk project and the email handler for such projects or with the generic email handler functionality?
Generally if the email subject has a Jira issue key in it, then the email will be attached to that issue as a comment. This does depend on the configuration of the email handler, though.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
