Is there a way for non-admins to see the logfiles after a failed csv import?

Sebastian P. (beecom) February 24, 2021

Our customer has external partners managing their Insight objects. However, when some of the objects in a CSV file are not being imported it appears impossible for them to tell why since they do not have access to the log files.

Is there any other way for them to see the relevant information?

Hi Sebastian,

Possibly, but not typically. Out of the box Jira (and Insight) doesn't really allow for this, but it is possible depending on organizational policy and environment configuration. I would ask your Jira Admins how one would get past the import error and go from there. Cheers!

Hi Joshua

Thank you for your reply.
It's too bad that you cannot access this logfile directly after the import.
I'll coordinate with the Jira Admins.

Cheers,

Sebastian
