Hi people at Jira,
Awesome job on nailing the new look of the e-mail. Right now I'm receiving 2 e-mail from the same ticket update:
Is there a way for me to receive only one format? The content for both e-mail are the same.
Thank you for the help!
Hi Emerentiana,
Just for further clarification of the issue, I'll make some questions:
When did this issue start?
Are you the only user facing this issue?
Is it happening for all the tickets?
Also, please check if both notifications have the same information and style because maybe you are receiving both customer and agent notification.
Regards,
Angélica
Hi Angelica,
Thank you for your response. It first happened on February 18th. Here's what I found from old and new e-mail format:
Old:
New:
I've checked all e-mail that is from the same ticket number, I think I have to take back my word about both e-mail having the same content. I didn't ask everyone but one of my colleague isn't experiencing this problem.
No, it didn't happen to all tickets.
maybe you are receiving both customer and agent notification
The seemingly duplicate e-mails are about development ticket and nothing to-do with IT Support or Trouble-shooting. So I doubt this is the case.
Hope it helps!

Hi Emerentiana,
It looks like you have been added to a role that receives these types of notification or some of the groups you are part of were added to the notification scheme to receive those notifications.
If you are an administrator, please go to Jira settings > System > Audit log. On this page, you can filter the changes by your name and also check the changes on notification schemes.
Regards,
Angélica
