Is there a way for issues to move up on a board when updated?

When an issue is updated in a column, it moves higher up the column.

You could, for a company-managed project board, change the board filter to "order by updated", but that would destroy your ability to rank issues, and probably make things jump up columns at the "wrong" time for a lot of people.

Can you tell us more about the use case? What problem are you trying to solve?

An issue's position vertically in the column reflects its Ranking compared to other issues in the column. Why would you want to change the issue's rank when it is updated?

There is no way currently to affect the Rank of an issue automatically. At this time Ranking can only be changed manually.
