Is there a setting to automatically go to the first page after selecting a new issue order?

Whenever I change the order for issues ("Created", "Due Date", etc.), I expect to automatically go to the first page, but this is not always the result(*). Is there a setting for this? If not, is there an existing issue request for this? If not, where do I go to create an issue for this? Thank you for your assistance.

(*) Instead, it takes me to whichever page the currently-selected issue resides on in the new ordering.

Hmm, I do go back to the first page in the scenario that you describe. Server 7.12.1, tested in Chrome and IE.

v7.7.1 here.

It seems to hinge on whichever issue I have selected at the time I change the ordering. If the issue I am looking at "lives" on page 3 of the new sort, then I am presented with the issues on page 3 (including my current issue, which is highlighted/selected just like before). While I can (pardon the pun) sort of understand the logic, I think my selecting a new order is a pretty clear indication that I no longer care about the issue I am currently looking at. I would much prefer going to page 1 and changing to whatever issue is topmost on that list (much like clicking the "Issues" button in the sidebar does).
