I have a no. of ppt files to be uploaded in Confluence and 2 of them are over 1MB. When trying to upload them a communication pops up - HTTP error. Is it the size problem? If yes, can the size limit be changed somewhere?

Hi Kinga,

welcome to Atlassian Community!

Yes, the attachment size limit can be changed. The default ist 100 MB.

Files over 1 MB should be not the source of any errors (how big are they actually? As soon as they are within the limit of 100 MB an upload should not produce any error message).

Please also see the knowledge base for further information and to double check if the setting for your instance is correct.

A HTTP error is, unfortunately, very generic. Maybe a short test from a different device and/or network could also help to verify where the problem is coming from.

Cheers,
Daniel
