Is it possible to use a different sort critieria on the Epics panel than on the Stories list?

We have an issue board where we'd like to sort the main issue list by a set of fixed criteria, but sort the Epics panel by Rank.  The desired behavior is to allow drag-and-drop sorting of the Epics without allowing the other issues to be re-ranked accidentally. (We do want to use Rank to sort issues, just not on this specific board.)

Is there any way to get that behavior?

Hi @Ernie Longmire 

I do not believe that is possible at this time for Server/Data Center or for Cloud versions.  Here is a suggestion to add the feature, which you may watch/vote for to see progress...although it is quite old.
