Is it possible to trigger transitions between projects in Jira?

Hi,

I´ve got two separate projects in Jira. One of them are used as a technical support board and one is used for the development.

The support team shall create issues in the technical support board. If any coding has to be done from a developer we clone the issue to the development project so that the developers can work with it in their ordinary flow.

Is it possible to update status and trigger a transition in the technical support project (on a linked issue) when an issue is marked as done in the development project?

Hi @Henrik Gerdin,

yes, it is possible through "JSU" plugin 

in post-functions --> Linked Transition(This will trigger transition to linked issues)--> you'll have to choose the link type and transition(should choose the correct the transition under the target issues's workflow)
