Is it possible to search in confluence from within Jira?

Deleted user May 11, 2020

Hello,

is there some possibility with addons or stuff to search for keywords on confluence while I'm in Jira? Switching gets pretty annyoing from time to time.

Would be good to know if there is some opportunity to do so. Our helpdesk is losing so much time while working onm jira issues, then heading to confluence to search if a solution already existsts and stuff.

Thanks

With the service Desk portal, you can set up a KB search to a connected Confluence Page.

There is a plugin that allows you to add a custom field to your tickets to allow KB searches. It used to be paid but is now free and unsupported.

Its ok, slows things down a little and tends to choke if the summary contains non-alphabetic characters. (like quotes)

Hello, do you know if this opportunity also exists with jira software connected to confluence?

I believe you can add that custom field to a software project, there is nothing in it specifically restricting it to service desk projects.
